Hycolin™ Hospital Disinfectant

Hycolin™ Hospital Disinfectant is the first choice disinfectant for environmental use in hospitals. It is a clear blue disinfectant, recommended for environmental use in isolation wards, operating theatres, laboratories and other places where contamination exists. Hycolin™ is effective against a wide range of micro organisms such as Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, enveloped viruses, Mycobacteria, fungi and some yeasts. Hycolin™ is based on cationic surfactants that are fully supported through the Biocidal Products Regulations and non-ionic surfactants that meet the requirements of the Detergent Regulations.

HYCOLIN® is recommended for
use at dilutions between 1:50 and
1:20 dependant on the amount
of contamination and type of
infection present. A dilution of 1:50
is recommended for areas where
contamination is known and also for
general disinfection. If TB is known to
be present then a dilution of 1:20 is
recommended.
Dilutions of HYCOLIN® are clear and
may be slightly blue depending on the
strength of dilution.
